Why Repurposing Content is Crucial for More Sales

If you’re a coach or course creator, you likely have a ton of useful information that you could repurpose to turn into more sales for you.

Just the other day I was working on a bonus PDF for a business coach.

This person just had a 1-hour long webinar on social media marketing for business owners.

What we decided to do was transcribe that entire webinar and create a bonus PDF for one of his main offers.

I took the content from that live webinar and distilled it down into a bunch of bullets.

Business owners might say “but there’s so much free stuff online why do people care about another social media PDF.”

The truth is…

People buy from people they like. And even if you have something that everybody else is doing, giving it to them as a bonus can make them feel very rewarded for sticking with you.

Plus, people are so bombarded with content out there and a lot of it is garbage, so if they trust you, then they’ll be more likely to actually consume it and implement the knowledge.

So ask yourself…

“Do I have existing content that I could turn into a strong bonus PDF for my main offer?”

Odds are you have this somewhere.

If you have a lot of content but don’t know what to use, consider going back to stuff you know has worked in the past for you.

It’s crazy to think, but often times as business owners we get away from what’s working and chase the next hot marketing strategy. I’m guilty of this for sure.

80% of what’s already working for you will be the best use of your time in terms of generating revenue.

It’s just about coming up with interesting ways to package it with your main offers that your audience will love.

I’d recommend going and searching your old files and getting organized and see if there are any older pieces of content that you could repurpose for your audience.

Also, make sure the bonus item is congruent with your main offer. Don’t just slap something together and call it a bonus. I’ve seen a lot of that and it always makes me feel like the business owner phoned it in.
