Writing for you (in honor of my 38th birthday)

I’m 38 years old today.

So I’m giving myself permission to write about whatever I want.

No judgment.

Full-blown narcissistic mode.

Maybe I’ll write one of those “38 business lessons” style emails.

If I did it’d probably look something like this.

Lessons 1-38…

  • Lean into your own thoughts, don’t outsource them to AI
  • Lean into your own thoughts, don’t outsource them to AI
  • Lean into your own thoughts, don’t outsource them to AI
  • Lean into your own thoughts, don’t outsource them to AI

  • Write for you. Good things happen.

That last lesson is perhaps most important.

Because the truth is…

When you write about the things that matter most, you avoid the algorithm and the trends, you tap into what I call “higher energy” writing.

The words flow smoother.

There’s more positive charge.

You create something that’s unique.

You’re not performing as much.

You’re just being.

And I believe leaning into yourself will continue to be more important than ever in 2026.

Because “lowering your standards” will be the new content trend in 2027.

It’s not about looking overly foolish, mind you.

You just won’t have to play corporate “dress up” to get engagement.

You can be your raw, unpolished self.

And yes, this will take a little courage on your part.

If you’re scared or unsure of what you believe in, I get it.

I’ve been there.

Which is why I’m hosting a “Electric YouTube Hooks” workshop on September 30th at 1 p.m. EST.

This is the “write for you” applied to video.

We’ll co-create some powerful hooks that you’re excited to record.

In today’s AI slop world, this will make it easier for you to stand out.

I’ll also be there live to help you if you need.
